Lanterne is Capella Kyoto’s all-day dining restaurant, where the spirit of a French brasserie is reinterpreted through the lens of Kyoto. Drawing together Parisian elegance and Japanese restraint, the design combines refined detailing, natural materials and a soft, luminous atmosphere to create a dining environment that feels both sophisticated and serene.
Delicate woven textures, pale timbers, bespoke ornamental elements and carefully curated floral compositions contribute to a sense of calm and understated luxury, reflecting the project’s ambition to harmonise the indulgence of French dining culture with the quiet beauty and craftsmanship of Kyoto.
